You can work with different types of breathing to create states of being. Inner fractals of goodness. Where the breath creates a certain buzzing aliveness within yourself such that the source of stress and tension within your system completely melts away.
Breath is also a form of communication. It's how the body communicates to you. When there are scary things around, the breath adjusts to prepare.
By modulating the breath, it's four levers: inhale, inhale retention, exhale, exhale retention. You can drastically alter the way your system functions in real-time.
This is a art form. What if you could give someone a breath that drove someone to states that you, the artist, desired? States that gave them the experience you want to give them over any meaning/interpretation they might take from it.
States include bliss, ecstacy, peace, stillness, connection, aliveness, autonomy, rest, creativity, focus, courage, and more.
What would it be like for breath to create courage within you? Does intention play a part? What does the nervous system of someone doing something courageous look like? What does their breath look like? What if you could get someone to this state in >1 min?
You can breathe the state into existence by leveraging a prior experience and letting it, through osmosis, guide you into a similar state.
Just re-connect with that experience and let your body begin to breathe in whatever way matches the state of mind you're looking for.
