“I can’t say if I feel better or worse for having been through something like this before. On one hand, I know how to handle it, I know what I can and can’t do, and how beautiful the other side is. However, I have felt the frustration of this process and the fatigue it brings. What hurts me the most is that I can’t help my teammates and won’t be able to play for our fans and supporters for a while.
Everyone who supports me and our team and my love for basketball is a big part of my passion for coming back. Don’t feel sorry for me or sympathize with me, there are a lot of people out there with real issues that can’t be cured. Anyway, sorry for my rambling, I just wanted to reach out to our fans and family. Thoughts from my hospital bed,” Chet Holmgren wrote.
