Francis Bacon (1909-1992) is an Irish born British artist who is famous for depicting disturbing images. People in Bacon’s works often have an animal nature. In the exhibition “man and beast” at the Royal Academy of art in London, Bacon’s depiction of the animal itself became the focus.
