Hi there!
We’re so happy you’re trying out the Medici Launch Tool! Since we are in alpha, things aren’t going to be silky smooth just yet ;) But that’s what we’re here for! Follow the brief walkthrough below to mint your own music NFT!
As of right now you can only mint one song at a time, but by selecting “Identical”, you can create many copies of that NFT.
If you’d like, you can upload your own metadata at this step! If you don’t want to, you can skip by clicking “No”. If you want to learn more, click “What’s That?”
Upload your music here! Please input the number of copies first, and then make sure that you upload a file that is in .mp3 format.
If you have an allowlist for your mint, you can upload that here by either choosing a local file from your computer or copy and pasting the list of wallet addresses into the white text box.
Ta-da! You’ve just created your first music NFT on Medici! Click on “Manage Your Project” to customize your project and click “View on Etherscan” if you want to see the contract itself on the blockchain.
The next thing to do is to create your customized mint page for your music NFT. To do this, go to “Launch”.
Using the sidebar on the left, select the “Music” option under “Claim Tier” to see your music being played on a spinning record! You can also customize the background color, font, social media links, and other details of the page. When you’re ready, click “Launch” in the top-right corner.
Congratulations, you now have your very own, totally customized launch page for releasing your music NFT! With this, you can bring a minting experience to your audience that is totally unique to you. Copy the link and tweet it, put it in your bio, Linktree, or wherever else you have a strong following.
