The global, cross-platform content giant 9GAG is announcing its first steps into Web3 through its first NFT collection, Memeland, and is bringing the Memeland treasure map to a real-life exhibition on July 30th. Founded in 2008, 9GAG has a global audience of 200 million, across its website, apps, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
9GAG is a Hong Kong-based social media platform, “the largest meme community on the internet,” by their own claim. Their name comes from a Cantonese slang term that means to crack jokes. but 9GAG's American jokes and style are often mistaken for a local American company.
