We are thrilled to share that our team ngmi.ai emerged as a top winner at the recent ETHGlobal Paris hackathon! Out of over 900 hackers and 300 projects, our mythological adventure game "Minotaur" won not just one but two major prizes:
🏆 Filecoin Grand Prize Trophy – Recognizing the most outstanding overall project at ETHGlobal Paris
👾 Mantle Best NFT or Gaming Trophy – Awarded to the best project integrating NFTs or showcasing innovative gaming
Minotaur transports players to the legendary labyrinths and ancient world of Greek mythology. With algorithmically generated levels, AI-powered NPC dialogues, and integration of blockchain elements like NFTs and tokens, it provides an immersive and one-of-a-kind gaming experience.
We implemented key innovations like procedural content generation for endless maze layouts, speech generation through AI for engaging NPC interactions, and blockchain features including collectible NFTs and an in-game token economy. Overcoming the challenging 48-hour hackathon timeframe, we managed to build a working prototype that impressed the judges.
Winning these two prestigious prizes at ETHGlobal Paris confirms we created something truly unique with Minotaur. The Filecoin Grand Prize recognizes overall excellence, while the Mantle Gaming Trophy specifically rewards our creative use of NFTs and gaming mechanics.
