Q: How is referral XP calculated?

① After the invitee completes registration, they get a bonus. Successfully minting a “Membership Badge” by your friend unlocks 10XP and 2 Credits for you.

② You start receiving 10% of the XP they earn in the Loyalty Program. For example: if your referred friend earns 100 XP from eligible actions, you'll receive 10 Referral Points. If they minted a Star Badge, you would get 10 XP and 2 Credits as a bonus.

Q: What actions are eligible to count towards Referral XP?

To help prevent Sybil and bot activity, attested credentials and onchain minted requirements, such as achievement badges minted by successfully completed referrals, will count towards your Referral Points.

Q: What are Referral XP used for?

Referral Points will be one of several multipliers used for subsequent community drop allocations. Referral Points help quantify your contribution to growing the network, but they are not a minimum nor must-have criteria to be eligible for community drops.

You can track your overall Referral Points, and see recent activity in your referral network, on the new referrals page. From here, you can see a leaderboard showing which of your invited friends are the most recently active!

XP is not a token, it’s an offchain system linked to your wallet address. XP measures your activity in Metopia and unlocks new rewards. You cannot sell XP. It’s tied to an address and is not transferable.

Q: What is Credit NFT?

Metopia Credit is an ERC-1155 NFT that can be transferred. You can use your Metopia Credit to participate in milestone activities, raffles and extend the duration of your Star Badge.
