Metronome Performance Report October 2025
IntroductionOctober saw a mild retreat across the crypto markets, with ETH price declining and DeFi activity significantly slowing down. Despite that backdrop, Metronome continued to demonstrate solid fundamentals. Although protocol revenue continued to rise, MET followed the general market trend and went down in price slightly. USD-denominated TVL also decreased with the market, but TVL in ETH terms climbed, indicating that underlying protocol usage remained strong. This report walks through...
Metronome Performance Analysis - August 2025
IntroductionThis is the inaugural monthly report in a series that will cover all Bloq DeFi protocols. Beginning with August, we’ll publish protocol reports in the first days of each month for Vesper, Metronome, and Odyssey. This edition reviews Metronome’s August performance using on-chain metrics to assess usage, and token performance, and peg quality of msAssets. The main driver of August activity was Odyssey adoption. Odyssey’s Loopr module offers multiple strategies built on Metronome syn...

Metronome Performance Report September 2025
IntroductionSeptember brought a softer market, yet Metronome still reached new highs in TVL, protocol revenue, and token-holder income, helped in part by Odyssey’s continued usage. To meet demand, mint caps for msUSD and msETH were raised ahead of October, so growth can continue if activity accelerates. This report walks through the changes in MET price and esMET, TVL by chain, protocol revenue and token-holder income, msAsset liquidity and peg quality over the month, liquidity incentives on ...

In October, we unveiled MIP-005, which outlined the development of our first protocol, Metronome Synth. Here is what you need to know:
Metronome Synth beta will be launching on January 10th, 2023.
Beta will go live on Ethereum Mainnet.
You will be able to access the beta app via the Metronome Website.
Stay updated as we release launch guides to help our users navigate the app.
During Synth’s beta period, starting on January 10th, we will gradually release new features to showcase the protocol’s capabilities to maximize capital efficiency. Our new synthetic protocol will enable users to supercharge their existing crypto assets into synthetic versions of popular cryptocurrencies, giving the potential for higher yield, zero slippage, and multi-synthetic generation.
To start, users must have installed a Web3 Wallet (such as MetaMask) and hold one of the supported collateral assets. Once users have deposited their collateral, they can choose a synth to generate, and then swap in the Synth Marketplace.
Please note that Synth is an overcollateralized protocol and requires more collateral deposited to generate synthetics.
The MET DAO will govern any changes to the Synth protocol via proposals and voting through our MIP mechanism; see here for our previous MIPs.
Any feedback and suggestions during this testing period are encouraged and greatly appreciated as the team continues to work toward improving the protocol. If you would like to contribute, please join our Discord. Thank you to everyone in the community for your support.
