I have adopted stray animals for more than ten years. My personal experience is that animals have taught me a lot and nourished my soul. The first dog I came across was an abandoned puppy, male. It was abandoned outside the gate of the community communication room. This little dog is thin and timid, with scabies all over his body. People don't like it, and even dogs avoid it. I hadn't driven yet, and was about to walk to the town to take the bus. When I saw it curled up in the weeds outside the door of the reception room, I threw it a meat bun I was eating for lunch. . When I took the bus into the city and came back from doing a lot of things, it was already dark, and this little dog was sleeping in front of my house. How does it know my address? How does it work up the courage to touch the community? How does it judge me? I have no idea. I prepared three things for it: a thick mat, a water bowl, and a rice bowl. The next day, I took the bus into the city again, and went back and forth for more than three hours. I went to the pet hospital to give it a medicine for skin diseases. I washed it three times a day, and it actually worked in a week. Then I also have to go out for a few days. My husband works out of town, so I entrust it to the doorman and ask the doorman to come to the corridor of my house every day to see it and add water and food.

After four or five days, I came home and saw that there was a lot of food and water in front of it. I thought it should be doing well these days, and I would express my joy when I saw it. But it was curled up like the wandering days before, silent, head bowed, trembling all over. For the next two days, it remained in this position and did not eat or drink. The doorman told me that it was like this after I left, no food or drink. I suddenly understood that it looked at me and thought I didn't want it anymore. It was abandoned once, and I was afraid that it would be abandoned by me a second time. This is the first time I understand the mind of a dog. So I comforted it in time, talked to it, took it out to play, it also understood my heart, started to eat and drink, and was happy. It jumped up and down, and the corners of its two mouths were raised upwards. It turned out that it was very sunny. I named it "Tugen". I was going through a low point in my life at the time. I have a negative mindset, and writing can't save me. At that time, my body was also in trouble. I suffered from severe insomnia and was very weak. The only thing that doesn't change is that I have a lot of courage, so I moved from the city center to this remote place by myself. There are no lights in the community. What I like is that there are rice fields around the community, there are pieces of vegetable fields, and there are insects and frogs. , All kinds of birdsong, chickens and dogs can hear each other, and the local accent is waxy and soft. Although I have never cultivated land, I love land, and when I see it, I think I might be saved. But it was Tugen who saved me first. It is the sunniest dog I have ever seen. I have taken in no less than 40 dogs since then, and the sunniest dog is Tugen.

It now eats and drinks, has a warm nest, and is full of joy all over the body. Even if people say it's ugly and its skin is dirty, it doesn't care, wagging its tail. After the skin disease was cured, it became more courageous and often ran out of the community to make dog friends in the village north of the community. At that time, there were many watchdogs in the village. They were strong, gentle, and sensible. These dogs formed gangs in groups of three or five, roaring from the village, and roaring away from my door wrapped in soil. I never knew it. Where is their next stop. It usually takes half a day to play before Tugen returns home. Tugen's food bowl is placed outside the yard, and I always fill it with food in order not to let it have food anxiety. Whenever Tugen's dog friends come back, Tugen will always lead them to the food bowl and let them eat up the food. He takes a few steps back and quietly squatting there watching his friends eat, with a look of "Gou Fugui". , don't forget" style. It was only after I raised more dogs that I learned that dogs are animals that protect food. Even brothers and sisters, parents and children are not allowed to eat. So think of it, Tugen is really a dog with a deep affection for his friends.
