Mint Blockchain Developer Mainnet launch is a significant milestone in building new economic systems to effectively reward developers and users that grow the Mint, Optimism, and Ethereum ecosystems. The Mint Public Mainnet will go live in early July.
Mint Blockchain was created with a clear vision: bring the next million builders and billion users onchain through NFT technology & assets. This serves to accelerate a global, decentralized financial system that will increase economic freedom around the world. Since our developer hackathon in January, testnet launch in February and Mint Forest launch in March, we’ve seen the foundation of a vibrant ecosystem take shape, including projects deployed across onchain finance, marketplaces, art, DePIN, and RWA. We’ve also seen new use cases of NFTs that push the limit of what’s possible. And we’ve had an opportunity to work with some of the leading wallets, bridges, security providers, oracles, and analytics services that enable developers to build resilient dapps in various fields.
The Dev Mainnet period enables developers to deploy on Mainnet while getting the infrastructure and integrations ready. Since the testnet launch in February, there are 70+ dapps and service providers available in the Mint ecosystem, during the Dev Mainnet period, Mint’s integration team will be available throughout the Developer Mainnet period to support builders looking to redeploy from testnet or deploy new applications. And anyone can explore dapps on Mint with near-zero gas fees, fast speeds, and secure transactions settled on Ethereum.
