Today, Mint is thrilled to announce the grand launch of Mint Eco Fund Season 1 - NFT Summer, a groundbreaking competition designed to empower developers to create and deploy their innovative Dapps and infrastructures on the Mint Blockchain.
This initiative is not just a contest; it's a significant step towards fostering a vibrant, sustainable, and forward-thinking NFT ecosystem. By providing substantial support and resources, Mint aims to accelerate the development of cutting-edge NFT applications and drive the mass adoption of NFTs in real-world scenarios.
Mint Eco Fund, is officially initiated by Mint Blockchain as a Web3 developer ecosystem development fund. Mint Blockchain has allocated 5% of its token supply to the Mint Eco Fund, amounting to millions of dollars, to incentivize the development of infrastructure and the developer ecosystem on the Mint network.
Mint Blockchain, an Ethereum L2 network focused on the NFT industry, is vigorously developing the NFT ecosystem. To further promote the growth of the NFT developer ecosystem on the Mint network, Mint Blockchain has launched the Mint Eco Fund Season 1 - NFT Summer in collaboration with ecosystem partners such as Optimism, NFTScan, Supra, Owlto and ZAN.

The NFT Summer covers ten tracks encompassing some of the fastest-growing on-chain NFT use cases today. Each track will award winning teams with Mint Eco Fund MINT rewards and additional Mint ecosystem support (details below). We’re looking for experiences that make it easy for anyone to get on-chain with NFT assets in the following categories:
NIP (NFT Improvement Proposal): Innovative NFT Asset Protocol Standards
NFT+Public Goods: NFT Tools, NFT Explorer, NFT Data Analysis
NFT+DeFi: NFT Marketplace, NFT Lending, NFT Perpetuals
NFT+RWA: RWA projects based on NFT assets
NFT+Social: Social products and protocols based on NFT assets
NFT+Game: Blockchain games based on NFT assets
NFT+Collection: Digital brands issued based on NFTs
NFT+Launchpad: Platforms for launching and promoting NFT projects.
NFT+AI: Projects combine NFTs with AI technology.

In addition to qualifying for Mint Eco Fund rewards, projects that go live on the Mint Mainnet will receive the following support from Mint Blockchain's ecosystem partners:
Optimism: Projects can apply for the OP Retro Public Goods Future Funding Round, with the opportunity to receive funding from the Optimism Foundation.
NFTScan: Each project can receive $1,000 worth of NFT API Data services from NFTScan.
ZAN: Each project can receive $500 worth of RPC node data services from Web3 data infrastructure provider ZAN, as well as a $10,000 security audit voucher.
The Mint Eco Fund organization will evaluate projects participating in the NFT Summer developer event based on several criteria: project integration with Mint Mainnet, product or protocol quality, user count or wallet addresses, transaction volume, and market value.
The organization will use tailored metrics to ensure effective evaluation. Evaluation results will be announced on September 30, 2024. Eligible projects will receive financial support from the Mint Eco Fund. As a formal member of the OP Superchain, participating projects also have the opportunity to receive funding from the Optimism Foundation.
