This initiative creates two exclusive token-gated Telegram groups based on the amount of $MODE held by participants. By joining these groups, you get:

Group Two: Giga Chads – Deeper DeFi conversations for whales and onchain enthusiasts

Going forward, these groups will serve as the primary community channels for Mode. We will keep them open for now, but entry may close and reopen at a later date.

How to join via Guild and gain access to the Mode TG groups:

1. Go to https://guild.xyz/mode-telegram

2. Connect your wallet that holds $MODE or has it staked

3. Verify that you have at least 20k (held/staked) for the Super Chad chat and 400k (held/staked) for the Giga Chad chat on the wallet you are connected with.

4. Click on “Join Guild” and connect your Telegram account

5. Click on “Check access to join”

6. When the requirements are satisfied, click on “Go to the group” link and enter the Chads chat.

Note: The Guild bot will routinely check wallets are still holding the tokens. Roles will be lost if the required tokens are not in the wallet.

The Mode Discord will stay open for the long term. But its focus will shift towards a ‘customer service’ centre where users can go with their problems.

It will no longer be the main Mode community, with this migrating to our new Telegram groups. We will also shutter some lesser used channels in Discord and direct people towards Telegram. See you in the chats Mode Chads!
