Gm Krakenites,
Thank you for making Tuesday’s tissue such an interesting, insightful and meaningful time together. We love your team dynamic and energy and we came away inspired and fired up for the pitch presentation!
We also really enjoyed chatting through our territories with you. And when it comes to Own It, we’re glad you think it’s as optimistic and empowering as we do. We know it’s a rich territory from which to explore different notions of ownership, so we are super excited to share our ideas with you soon.
But in recognition of this week’s inaugural World NTF Day, we’ve rounded up a recent selection of who’s hot and who’s not.

David Bowie
Up first is the late David Bowie. He foresaw the sweeping changes of the internet in 1999 (more of that here); his estate is still keeping him ahead of the curve with posthumous “Bowie on the blockchain” NFTs.

Doodles
Burnt Toast for the masses! Doodles has raised $54m in funding as part of their push to take NFTs mainstream. Their upcoming Doodles 2 release should bring more accessibility and adoption to the NFT space. Here’s to a not so distant future where even your granny will have her own stash of PFPs.

MoMA
No, it’s not another crypto abbreviation. New York’s Museum of Modern Art wants to expand their digital presence and buy some NFT artwork with some of the proceeds of an auction of William S. Paley's art collection. Better late than never we say.
Tyler Hobbs x QQL
The artist behind Fidenza has released a program that allows anyone to create generative art - some of which will be minted as part of the final collection. It was so popular it hit over 1 million renders in just 42 hours. We had a play ourselves -see our favourite output below:

String Bean
Recognise who this is? Neither did we. Back in May, he secretly released animated NFTs called “Germinations” under the alias “String Bean”. Narrating them himself, he had us all fooled. We were listening to his voice, looking at him but just didn’t know it was actually Jim Carrey. One of the better celebrity NFT launches.

Tic Tacs
Rounding out the hot or not NFT charts this week are our old friends, Tic Tacs. Sorry guys, there’s a new mint in town.

Oh, one last thing…
