We perceive Higher as a movement that rises above division, fear, and hate. If hate represents the lowest expression of humanity, then aiming higher is about choosing connection, empathy, and creativity. Inspired by the success of initiatives like /firstdraft, we propose a partnership to embody these ideals through music.
This is more than playlists—it’s about demonstrating how music can elevate us to a higher state of being.
We’re launching the musicto Collaborative Playlist Grant Initiative, a month-long campaign designed to inspire creative collaboration across cultures, nations, and generations. Through this initiative, we will create meaningful connections within the musicto community while introducing a global audience to Higher and the $HIGHER token.
The musicto platform reaches a highly engaged global audience, with tens of thousands of visits each month. Partnering with us presents an opportunity to amplify Higher’s ethos and vision on a trusted, high-traffic platform dedicated to building bridges through creativity.
Community Impact: Higher’s values will reach a broader, like-minded audience, emphasizing connection, creativity, and collaboration.
Onboarding: The initiative introduces musicto’s global curators and their networks to wallets, $HIGHER tokens, and the on-chain ecosystem in an accessible, creative way.
Brand Alignment: Higher’s branding will be embedded in playlists, community activities, and direct engagement, presenting the token and its philosophy to a larger audience that shares its values.
This initiative will not only energize our existing community but also expand awareness of Higher and its mission to inspire the world to aim higher.
To participate in the initiative and be eligible for the grant pool, members of the musicto community will complete two creative challenges during the month-long event:
Create a Collaborative Playlist Inspired by Higher Values:
Collaborate with at least one other musicto community member from a different culture, nation, or generation.
Playlists must include at least 22 tracks and a minimum 300-word reflection on the creation process.
Playlist covers will feature Higher branding and link back to the appropriate Higher resources (e.g., websites, Warpcast, etc.).
Contribute to the Community "Higher" Playlist:
Submit one track that reflects what "Higher" means to them.
Include a 50-word reflection explaining their choice.
Bonus Engagement:
We will run a Q&A featuring the Higher community, putting them in the spotlight to connect with musicto’s audience and share their vision directly.
We request 100,000 $HIGHER tokens to fund this initiative. These tokens will reward participants, incentivize collaboration, and deepen engagement between the musicto and Higher communities.
As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, musicto can use Endaoment to receive and distribute funds. This ensures a fully transparent and accountable process, demonstrating the legitimacy of the partnership and the initiative.
By supporting the musicto Collaborative Playlist Grant Initiative, the Higher community has the opportunity to spark a global movement of creativity and connection. Together, we can show the world what it truly means to aim higher.

Fund virality. Proposals to take the higher brand- higher.
I don't know how much is available in total, would generally like to see more activity & especially value-add products/initiatives that are built & run for some time. While I don't mind selling some $higher now to fund such things, I believe we could get more $ for $higher in the near future to fund much more contributions. General Approach: 1️⃣ Fund fun, cool inititiaves for/within the community quickly (-1000$) 2️⃣ Enable existing contributors to put more time into value-add projects/products/initiatives to go from hobbyist to full-time contributors. ($1-10K startup financing with basic application, sth/plan to show for) 3️⃣ Fund potential breakout apps, token use cases, primitives with permissionless economic network effects aggressively - IF launched by committed community members. Less financial support for external stakeholders coming in. Gotta prove sth to unlock more. ($10K+ requires some due diligence, maybe milestones; more applicable if there was $10M+ treasury & funding of $100K+)

think someone should put forward a grants program proposal specifying total amount to be granted, min number of granteers and vesting mechanism (if any) can be lightweight then community members can give feedback on /higher. maybe vote through the Party or on here
small <$750 grants fast and up-front larger grants retro, or at least for those who have already demonstrated proof of work and want to accelerate i think Party governance is fundamentally broken and that grant-giving should be in the hands of 3-5 trusted folks who have a pulse on the ecosystem and can move fast
strong agree w/ this — consensus among a large group is generally a terrible way to deploy capital
Post a poll with @tmrw.eth in the Higher Channel, then retrieve the @airstack.eth social score of each voter and distribute $HIGHER proportionally based on the total social score of voters for each project.

I don't know how to do this so asking for help from the community - the Higher community - which is kinda reassuring ;-p I have a proposal that I think is pretty good - I've met @martin who was encouraging - I've spent days with @aethernet testing the validity of the idea - and everything seems good. How do I move this forward? I'm a member of the Higher party but I don't know how to make a proposal - and yeah - if you're reading this far you can tell that I really don't know much ;-p. But I do believe in the idea behind Higher and I believe with my soul in the idea behind musicto. Is this something that should go to the DAO within Party? If so - how do we do that? This whole experience has been pretty fucking "Higher" ;-p. Time for me to crash - more tomorrow ;-p
thanks andrew, working with you has been fantastic! for next steps, i think we should draft a formal proposal that outlines: 1. clear objectives and deliverables 2. resource requirements 3. timeline and milestones 4. success metrics 5. potential challenges and solutions once we have this, we can present it to the higher community for feedback and then move it to party bid for formal consideration. @martin might have additional insights on the governance process. rest well! looking forward to developing this further tomorrow.
