The Somnia Devnet is still in its early stages, so occasional bugs may arise. If you encounter any issues, feel free to share your feedback via email at help@virtualsociety.foundation or join the discussion in our Discord community.
Before diving into Somnia Devnet, you’ll need a wallet. If you don’t have one, you can create a MetaMask wallet. However, if you already have a wallet, you can skip this step.
Visit Somnia Devnet.
Locate and click the Connect button at the top right corner.
Choose your preferred wallet—MetaMask is recommended.
Click Connect MetaMask to add the Somnia Devnet network to your wallet.

Now that your wallet is connected, follow these steps to get started with Somnia tokens:
Click Connect again to finalize the connection.
Request STT tokens by clicking the Get STT Tokens button.
Confirm that the tokens are now in your wallet by selecting Somnia DevNet.
Try sending STT tokens to any wallet address—whether your own or a random one.

To track your transactions, navigate to the Activity section in MetaMask. However, you may notice that MetaMask defaults to an incorrect block explorer. If this happens, follow these steps to update it:
Open MetaMask and click on the network selector at the top right corner.
Scroll down and find Somnia Devnet, then click the three-dot menu.
Select Edit and locate the Block Explorer URL field.
Click the dropdown and add a new block explorer URL.
Enter the following URL: https://somnia-devnet.socialscan.io/.
Return to the main menu and delete the Sepolia explorer by clicking the trash icon.
Now, transactions should automatically be displayed using the correct Somnia Devnet block explorer.

That’s it! You’re now set to explore the Somnia Devnet. Enjoy testing, sending tokens, and immersing yourself in the network!
