Step 1: Connect Access the project website at the following link: https://cedro.finance/
For new participants, you should quickly review the basic information about the project before joining the testnet, where you will see the platforms and products that Cedro provides.
After having an overview of the project, click on the “Launch App” button to access the testnet.
This is the interface that you will encounter when accessing, you need to connect to your wallet, and click on the “Connect Wallet” button in the center of the screen:
I suggest you choose the testnet on the Metamask wallet (my tutorial uses Metamask wallet, however, with other wallets, the process is similar)
Once you have successfully connected, you will access the Dashboard tab, which is the default tab, and also where you can observe the assets you have collateralized and borrowed on the Cedro platform. For wallets that have never connected to Cedro, you need to add the testnet chain, and the system will automatically detect and propose a conversion for you.
So you have successfully connected the wallet and added the testnet chain to the Cedro platform.
Step 2: Get Test token Click on the “Get Test Token” button.
Here you will see the tokens that can be obtained through the faucet, and I recommend that you use the faucet in order from top to bottom.
After clicking on the faucet, you will be directed to the BNB Faucet website: https://testnet.bnbchain.org/faucet-smart
You need to click on the “I am human” button to prove that you are not a robot.
This is the interface of the Faucet page.
Enter your wallet address in section 1 and click the Give me BNB button to receive testnet BNB tokens.
Using the above method, you continue to interact with faucet websites to receive the remaining tokens such as FTM, AVAX, MATIC, AGOR.
Step 3: Testnet Interact with Testnet You navigate to the Market tab to start collateralizing and borrowing tokens.
Click on Detail.
You will access the statistics interface for the amount of AVAX tokens you have borrowed/collateralized.
SUPPLY:
Next, click on Supply to provide the number of AVAX tokens you have obtained through the faucet to the platform. The system will require your Metamask wallet to approve and allow for the testAVAX token. Click on “Enable”.
A pop-up will appear from the Metamask wallet, click on Max and then click Next, and then select “Approve”.
After successfully approving the testAVAX token, you will proceed to Supply the testAVAX token. In my experience, you should not supply 100% of all tokens you have, so leave some for your account, and after selecting the token amount, click on the “Supply” button.
Click on the confirmation transaction from the Metamask wallet.
There will be a popup notifying you of the transaction process, and waiting time is about 2–30 minutes depending on the time, chain, and token you are trading.
When the transaction process reaches 100%, which means it is complete, click X to close the popup.
So you have successfully supplied testAVAX tokens.
(In subsequent steps, the process is similar, so you can apply the above steps to interact with other tokens).
BORROW: Next, you proceed to Borrow tokens based on the amount of testAVAX you have supplied earlier (this is a common collateralized borrowing and lending practice in traditional finance). The system will require you to switch chains to proceed with borrowing.
You follow the steps sequentially:
1/ Click on Borrow
2/ Select the amount of testAVAX tokens you want to borrow
3/ Note that the amount of tokens you borrow should be appropriate, ideally maintaining a green Health Factor level to avoid being liquidated during sudden market fluctuations
4/ Click on the Borrow button
Similar to the Supply step, you must wait for the transaction to be 100% completed before proceeding to the next step.
WITHDRAW: You navigate to the Dashboard homepage and click on the Withdraw button.
Select the amount of testAVAX tokens you want to withdraw and click on Withdraw. Similar to the Borrow step, you should only withdraw an appropriate amount of tokens. Withdrawing too many tokens will affect your Health Factor level.
Once the transaction is 100% completed, we will proceed to the final step, which is Repay.
REPAY: You access the Borrow List tab and click on Repay.
Similar to the previous steps, you enter the amount of testAVAX tokens to repay. The more tokens you repay, the higher your Health Factor will be, and the borrowing and lending will be safer.
Crew3: After completing the above four steps, you should participate in Cedro’s campaigns on the Crew3 platform through the following link: https://crew3.xyz/c/cedrofinance/invite/MJB2_XOtfM_lHOJu2zX42
One of the tasks on the platform is related to the testnet, with a high XP point value. You can complete this task based on the testnet results you have achieved from the above steps.
You click on the Transaction history section from the Dashboard tab.
You will see your interaction history, including Deposit, Borrow, Withdraw, and Repay. Send a screenshot of your transaction history to the corresponding task on Crew3, and then click on the Claim Reward button to receive the earned XP points.
