Las Vegas made global headlines after an unusual incident at XS Nightclub, Wynn Las Vegas. A French man named Dylan Desclos successfully impersonated Justin Bieber and even performed on stage in front of thousands of fans.

The incident took place on Saturday night, August 16, 2025. Desclos, who has been known as a Bieber lookalike for years, entered the venue with a group pretending to be the singer’s new management team. His uncanny resemblance to Bieber fooled both fans and the nightclub’s security.

While DJ Gryffin was performing, Desclos was introduced as Justin Bieber. Without hesitation, he joined the set and lip-synced Bieber’s hit song “Sorry”, complete with pyrotechnics and roaring applause from the crowd.

Many fans truly believed they were seeing the superstar himself. Even WWE star Charlotte Flair posted a selfie with the “fake Bieber,” adding more fuel to the frenzy.

The illusion didn’t last long. Wynn Resorts staff eventually discovered Desclos’s real identity. He was immediately escorted out of the club.

Before leaving, Desclos was billed nearly US$10,000 in bar expenses, which he reportedly paid in full. Still, Wynn Resorts banned him for life from all of their properties in Las Vegas.

Desclos is a 29-year-old Frenchman from Normandy. He has been performing as a Bieber impersonator for years, perfecting the singer’s tattoos, haircut, and mannerisms to near perfection.

Earlier, he even went viral on TikTok when Hailey Bieber, Justin’s wife, commented “I’m scared” after seeing how strikingly similar he looked to her husband.

DJ Gryffin later joked about the blunder, calling the incident “Beibergate.” He admitted that the loud music and dim nightclub atmosphere made it nearly impossible to realize it wasn’t the real Bieber.

International outlets including New York Post, Cosmopolitan, and The Cut reported on the story. Photos and videos spread rapidly across social media, leaving fans in disbelief that one of the world’s biggest clubs was fooled.
