GM #stakeborgars,
Hope all of you had a great Halloween party and you scared away the bad spirits.
The past month I spent it in Bucharest, Romania participating at the new The Stakeborg Talks event as well as at the first Binance Meet-up in Romania. I also flew to Timisoara, where I took part at the 2nd Web 3 Meet-up organized by QED.
I was also this month when I decided to officially resign from my previous position at the NH Hotel Group. I took this step as I want to fully dedicate to Web3 and work towards build my specialization in this field. I have in mind to start a new business focused on Web3 event and travel management.
What I bring to the table are my 10 years experience in hospitality, out of which the last four I focused on B2B Groups and Event Management, as well as my passion and understanding of Web3 space. Next to it, my interest in participating to as many IRL events as possible will expand my knowledge and expertise.
So, if you want to organize an event - I am your guy! 📞
As mentioned above, the month of October I spent it in Bucharest, Romania, and at the end of the month I moved to Barcelona, Spain.
I had the pleasure to be in the audience, and listen to two of the most successful business men in Romania, Andrei Pitis and Andrei Diaconescu.
They both shared great stories about their build-up to success and the current operating mode they are in.
I recommend you watching the shows, advisably with a notepad next to you. You might catch one or two interesting thoughts.
I had the opportunity to stay for a couple of days in an ONE Properties apartment and I have to certify that the quality of the building and the attention to details are something that I haven’t experienced in any residential building in Romania.
Amazing experience!
Sadly, this was my last TST I was able to participate IRL, as I won’t be travelling to Bucharest any time soon. I am proud to say that I was part of all TST events since their start. On a nice ending note, my last TST was also Sven’s first.

When I heard that @FreeFly will give a presentation about DAOs, I knew that I wanted to be there and support him. So I booked a flight and got to Timisoara for a couple of days.
FreeFly gave a great introduction into DAOs and answered the public’s questions. At the end he rewarded the most active participants with a StakeborgDAO Web3 Degen T-shirt.

It was also a great opportunity to meet with the rest of Timisoara crew, @Johnny, MTK, JED and MAC.
QED is doing a great work in offering a space for Web3 enthusiasts to gather, educate and network. Happy that StakeborgDAO was able to contribute through @FreeFly’s presentation.

A week after being in Timisoara, I had the opportunity to attend the first Binance Meet-up organized in Bucharest.

I was happy to see that the event took place in the same venue as The Stakeborg Talks. Apollo 111 in Bucharest has the potential of becoming a crypto hub with all these events taking place here.
Was great to see so many familiar faces at this event, with our #stakeborgars - Mihnea, Robert, Evelyne, Razvan, Cosmin, and N1rv4n4 holding the flag high.

Was great to see Metaventis crew in the building as well as many public figures active in this space, like Daniel Nita among others. Mr. Pitis was again in the house, after the TST talk and Vast and Curious discussion.
Binance, through it RO Country Manager, Ilie Puscas, showcased the company’s plans in Romania, their already achieved milestones and country specific implementations. They also presented the VIP program for traders and the entire range of products and services Binance has on it’s offering.
The most exciting presentation though, was that of FC Rapid’s Digital Marketing director, who presented the club’s ambitions in Web3 and Metaverse. Fan Token, Stadium in Metaverse, Players NFTs? Check out the below for more insights.

Moving to a new city comes also with the excitement of participating to local crypto events. So for November, I already set eyes on three events taking place in Barcelona.
In the second part of the month, there will be the Cardano Summit, taking place in Lausanne, Switzerland. I already have registered for the virtual attendance. You can do it too here: https://summit.cardano.org/
But I found out that there will also be a community organized event in Barcelona (and 50+ other cities worldwide), where Cardano enthusiasts can gather to follow the summit together, share thoughts and network.
To anyone interested, here’s the link: https://www.meetup.com/cardano-blockchain-barcelona/events/289204122/?rv=wm1&_xtd=gatlbWFpbF9jbGlja9oAJGI5NGE3NzJhLThhODItNGFlYi04ZDhiLWVjMjFiMzBhNmNkZQ%253D%253D&_af=event&_af_eid=289204122
The next event that it’s on my agenda, but for which I have applied for a volunteer position, is the ETH Gathering in Barcelona. Fingers crossed to be selected!
The third event on my list is the Democracy for All event. This is an annual event taking place in Barcelona and it brings together talent, experts and policymakers to share and discuss the latest advances in technology and regulation. It focuses on the use of blockchain as an instrument of democratic improvement in terms of social, corporate and individual governance.

Make sure that you are among the first 1000 Youtube subscribers, and you might be in for something. Like we say … probably nothing 😉 Yes, besides the newsletter, the boys will also return to Youtube with IT’s NFTime show.
Of course that I am very proud to see FreeFly and MTK having their own sections in the newsletter, bringing us great insights from Garry’s VeeFriends and untility NFTs.
StakeborgDAO Community Talks
I also want to acknowledge the work done by the Community Talks Team with their Agora Proposal for Season 2. In case you haven’t had the chance to review it, here it is. Great job @vru, @jenny and @dublude.
