Why are we always encouraged to experience more in life? It’s as if fulfilling more desires would make life more exciting. But most so-called "bucket lists" are really just various forms of consumption. And the design of consumption leads to desires endlessly expanding, making it easier for people to become trapped. Perhaps we take ourselves too seriously. Our bodies were given by our parents. Coming into this world wasn’t something we actively applied for. Many things are beyond our control or decision-making power. So why must I exhaust myself for this body? As for the strange desires born from having a body, what difference does it really make whether they are fulfilled or not? Life is like merely passing through. No matter good or bad, it will quickly pass. Live earnestly, be sincere, be grateful to your parents, and don’t get overly entangled in desires or things beyond your control. What do you think?
