Faith vs. Science Conflict — Ibn Khaldūn’s Balance of Reason & RevelationModern discourse often portrays faith and science as opposing forces: belief versus reason, revelation versus observation. Day 1 – The Mirror of Worth
Self-worth is not something you earn, achieve, or win. It is not tied to your job title, the money in your account, or the approval of others. From the moment you were born, you had worth simply because you exist. Yet somewhere along the way, many of us were taught that our value depends on how much we produce, how perfectly we perform, or how well we fit in.
Today’s reminder is simple but powerful: you do not need to prove your worth to anyone — not even to yourself.
Take out a notebook or open your phone’s notes app. Write down three qualities about yourself that have nothing to do with achievements. For example: “I am compassionate,” “I am creative,” or “I have a calming presence.”
Notice how these qualities are not tied to doing, but to being. These are pieces of your essence — and they matter.
Close your eyes and imagine fully believing that you are enough exactly as you are. What would shift in your life if you carried that belief every day? Would you speak differently? Would you take more risks? Would you treat yourself with more kindness?
Write freely, without censoring yourself, as though the belief “I am enough” were already woven into your daily life.
I am worthy because I exist.
Repeat this out loud, slowly. Let the words settle.
Say it three times while looking at your reflection in a mirror or in your phone’s camera. Notice the resistance that may arise — and also notice the truth quietly pushing through.
