Dear readers,
The primary goal remains:
Complete the first draft of the Pegged thriller by September.
The past weeks have been split between structural adjustments to Acts 2 and 3, and significant progress on the Pegged Protocol White Paper. While scene drafting has been limited, the groundwork for both the narrative and its embedded philosophical ideas is stronger than ever.
Overview of the Last Month’s Writing
Act 2 sequence restructuring complete.
Act 3 integration work continues—particularly the transition between climax and denouement.
Published Scene 76 and now approaching 48,000 words.
Progress on the Pegged White Paper
The Pegged Protocol White Paper is emerging as the definitive canonical document for the fictional and philosophical backbone of Pegged.
Recent work includes:
Fully drafted Fundamental Characteristics and Functional Components sections.
Integrated concept of "structural indifference" as the protocol’s core design principle.
Incorporated research on anthropological roots of randomness and lottery systems.
Finalized KPIs: Peg maintenance and Payout Ratio.
Added vulnerabilities section with mitigation strategies.
Clarified anonymity as the protocol’s default operating condition.
This work not only anchors the novel’s realism but will also be published as an appendix in Pegged, giving readers a direct bridge between fiction and applied design.

Alias’s Notebook Excerpts — New Publishing Strategy
Until sequences of successive scenes are ready, releases will focus on Alias’s Notebook Excerpts. These will:
Clarify the thriller’s underlying ideas contained in the Pegged White Paper.
Offer distinct voices for Alias and Ava.
Appear as interstitials in the novel, as a standalone book, serialized online, and as two-voice audio versions.
Include enhanced annotated editions with marginalia and sketches.
First new excerpt will drop this month.
