Our first comprehensive update on progress, partnerships, and what's coming next
We're excited to share our first public update on what Pelagos has been building. From our live devnet to major partnerships and a growing community, here's everything you need to know about our journey toward seamless cross-chain execution.
Pelagos is an atomic cross-chain execution fabric and liquidity layer that's solving one of crypto's biggest problems: fragmented liquidity across multiple blockchains.
Here's how it works: a user or smart contract signs just once on any connected chain, our network simulates the complete multi-chain route, and then validators co-sign the transactions on every target network. The result? Seamless access to a unified pool of liquidity spread across Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, and more.. without manual bridges or network switching.
Pelagos is now live on devnet and working toward its first steps on public testnet. We're enabling real value movement across multiple chains in under a second, attracting builders who need exactly that capability.
What started as lengthy research has evolved into a network with:
Sub-second atomic settlement
Dual-slashed security
Encrypted execution lane
These features work together to remove latency, bridge risk, and operational friction from cross-chain products.
We're partnering with Avail to combine their data-availability and sequencing capabilities with Pelagos' atomic execution layer. Together, we're building:
Low-latency institutional appchain framework: Avail DA + sequencer + Pelagos chains for instant, compliant settlement
Rust order-matching engine appchain: Direct communication with Base, letting dApps route and fill orders crosschain without bridges
Additional security layer: Avail DA as backup security for Pelagos bundles, providing verifiable data anchoring
One collaboration, three concrete builds - all aimed at making crosschain trading and settlement faster and safer.
Our flagship product is an autonomous Vault built on its own Pelagos app-chain that taps liquidity across numerous chains. Here's how it works:
Users deposit once into the Vault
Our off-chain engine scrapes pool data and runs machine-learning models
The system simulates gas and slippage costs
A single Pelagos batch can close, open, or resize positions across every chain
Each batch is verified and committed only if expected net yield clears pre-set thresholds
A gas vault handles costs so depositors never need to juggle native tokens
Positions, yields, and limits are written on-chain in real-time, with profits auto-compounding. It's a cross-chain yield product that aims to beat top-quartile market baselines, all enforced atomically and visible on-chain within seconds.
✅ SDK Connected to Consensus Layer - Appchains can now securely interact with the underlying consensus mechanism
✅ Inter-Appchain Communication Architecture - Foundation for cross-appchain functionality is complete
✅ Basic SDK Metrics - Validators have visibility into key performance metrics
✅ Block and Receipt Access - Appchains can fetch and interpret blockchain data for advanced logic
✅ TSS Protocol Migration - Threshold signature functionality now runs as a separate appchain
✅ New Modular Architecture - Recent redesign delivers improved stability and scalability
✅ Protocol Testing Complete - Core communication between SDK and consensus layer validated
We've been deep in research with Avail on:
Using AvailDA as a sequencer for lowest-latency cases
Bidirectional transaction sharing between Pelagos and Nexus
Orchestrating async operations on Avail with sync operations on Pelagos
Stabilized Testnet Environment - More reliable infrastructure for consistent development and testing
Monitoring & Logging System - Real-time insights and debugging capabilities for validators
Automated Appchain Deployment - Streamlined process for launching appchains on testnet
Expanded Interoperability - Integration with Sepolia and Mumbai testnets
Validator Epoch Rotation - Supporting decentralized validator dynamics
Inter-Appchain External Transactions - Seamless transaction flow between appchains
Basic Account Abstraction applications scalable for user implementations
Continued Avail partnership development and architecture work
Default Solidity Appchain examples
Enhanced Vault product with APY calculations and real data transactions
We have dApps ready for public testnet launch over the coming months. Use cases include:
Cross-chain perpetuals
Truly multichain execution layers
Cross-chain flash loans
Arbitrage bundles finalizing in under half a second
Our goal is to test the system with these partners and collaboratively develop new use cases.
Our community is growing rapidly:
500+ Discord members
300+ X (former Twitter) followers
5 potential validators expressing interest in running nodes
Rising engagement from individuals interested in contributing
We've published our first article introducing Pelagos to the public and showcasing the various solutions possible on our network. We're actively working to increase awareness and bring more participants to the upcoming testnet.
Liquidity fragmentation across chains forces serious money to stick with centralized trading desks, while every bridge risks leaving trades half-finished. Pelagos eliminates this friction by confirming or canceling entire multi-chain routes in under a second.
This means a six-leg trade across Base, Solana, and a private shard is either completely locked in or never executes, no partial failures. With this certainty, you can run:
Global flash loans
Cross-venue perpetual hedging
Gaming apps with cross-chain jackpot payments
Experiences that simply don't work anywhere else
Every time these flows execute, Pelagos takes a fee, turning a structural market pain point into our revenue stream.
We want to express sincere gratitude to our pre-seed investors and supporters who stepped up first, giving Pelagos both runway and legitimacy:
Anurag Arjun (Avail), cp287 (cp0x), Deniz (Lumia), Dillon (Dia), Igor Mandrygin (Gateway FM), Itreasury.io, James Ikeguchi (Amua), Jia Yung, Junger (Rise Labs), Krum Pashov (Pashov audit group), Luka (Daedalus Ventures), Matthias Ang (SSV Labs), Nakameowdough, Nemo (Daedalus Ventures), Paolo Rebuffo (Erigon), Seliqui, Valentin (Daedalus Ventures), Vasiliy Shapovalov (Cyber Fund), Venky (Metrom), Victor (Across), and others.
Thank you for believing early. We intend to reward that belief with relentless shipping and transparent reporting.
Thank you all for supporting us before all the pieces fully fit together. We now have real capital, real partners, working code, and a rapidly scaling community.
We keep shipping, we keep building
If you're a developer interested in building on Pelagos or a potential validator, we'd love to hear from you.
