Welcome to our Meet the Dev series, where we spotlight builders shaping the future of Pepu L2.
This short series is dedicated to highlighting community developers who are not just using the Pepu chain, but actively building on it, enhancing it, and pushing its boundaries. From experimental tools to game-changing protocols, these are the creators adding real utility to the ecosystem. Whether you’re a builder, holder, or just curious, this series is for you.
Today we are talkin to the creator of PEPUNS, identity & financial services on Pepu L2.
Your Identity. Your Finance. On Pepu L2.

Q: Can you describe your project in a few sentences?
PEPUNS is building the financial and identity layer for Pepu Unchained. From the Pepu Name Service to debit cards and the Unchained Wallet, the focus is on making Pepu not just a place to trade, but a full ecosystem where identity, finance, and everyday utility come together.
Q: Why did you start this project?
I started Pepuns because I wanted to build a strong financial layer on the Pepe Unchained L2 blockchain. My goal was to bridge the gap between on-chain innovation and real-world usability by introducing practical solutions like debit cards, off-ramps, and other financial tools that make Pepu part of people’s daily lives. The Unchained Wallet was developed to provide a seamless, secure, and user-focused gateway into the Pepe Unchained ecosystem, making asset management effortless and accessible to everyone. With the Pepe Name Service (DNS), my vision is to merge DeFi with digital identity, ensuring every user has a unique and verifiable Pepu identity that can serve as both a personal brand and a trusted credential across the network. Ultimately, I started this project to make Pepe Unchained not just a blockchain to trade on, but a complete ecosystem where finance, identity, and utility come together.
Q: What are your main goals for PEPUNS?
The goal is to bring DeFi into daily life. That means debit cards you can swipe in stores, off-ramps that make cashing out seamless, a wallet that’s easy to use but powerful, and domains that give every user a unique identity. We want Pepu to be known as a chain where finance, identity, and culture all merge into something people actually use day-to-day.
Q: Can you give us any hints about what’s coming next?
We’re focused on usability. Expect deeper debit card integrations, stronger off-ramp options, and upgrades to Pepu Name Service so it becomes the default identity layer across Pepu. The long-term vision is that your Pepu identity becomes as natural and essential as your email address or bank card.
Q: Any final message for the Pepu community?
Our journey with Pepuns is about more than building tools, it’s about creating real-world value for the entire Pepu community.
That’s a wrap for this edition of Meet the Dev.
