Q: Can you describe your project in a few sentences?
Brodo Beats aims to create digital and musical content dedicated to Pepu, its community, and projects within L2.The project was born from a desire to support existing initiatives that are actively building, as well as a personal drive to create. Brodo Beats is a small creative space dedicated to the Pepu community.
So far, I have produced 18 original songs dedicated to various L2 projects. The music is created by me using several AI tools, while all lyrics are original and written by hand. The music videos are also original content, made by me and inspired by the tokens each song is dedicated to, always with prior permission from the developers.
What started almost as a game has grown thanks to the community’s support and ongoing requests for new songs, pushing me to take the project further than I thought possible.
I am currently working on an NFT collection, with help from devs across L2. A preview is already available on the Brodo Beats Telegram channel.
There is a lot of work behind each video-song, but I must say I am really enjoying it, and the community’s support has been something unexpected and truly appreciated.
LFG Pepu! 🚀
Q: Why did you start this project?
I started the project because I have been part of the Pepu community since the pre-sale. I know the history of the L2 and most of the tokens on it very well. I have always tried to support those actively building, and creating something of my own to help the community has always been my goal.
I have a passion for creating digital content, especially melodies and songs. With recent advancements in AI, artistic expression has become accessible to many. Pepu and its community gave me a space where I could express myself creatively, and I will always be grateful for that.
Q: What are your main goals for Brodo Beats?
The project aims to continue producing music and video content freely available to the Pepu community and its developers. The first “DE-ALBUM” was an initial attempt, and I hope to keep improving the quality of the content over time.
Alongside music production, I am developing a dedicated NFT collection for Brodo Beats with help from other L2 devs. The website is live and currently being updated to integrate more features in collaboration with other projects.
I have also received requests to create custom sticker and GIF collections after my animation work was well received. I have already completed a project for Degen-Time and contributed to Pepu Bank, and I plan to expand this creative service soon.
The main goal is to offer something unique to Pepu in the world of crypto communities. Having personalized music videos for tokens is something developers and project owners have truly appreciated.
Q: Can you give us any hints about what’s coming next?
New songs, NFT releases, and collaborations with other Pepu projects are on the way. Expect more original music videos, new styles, and continued creative experimentation with AI and community input.
That’s a wrap for this edition of Meet the Dev.
