These studios are the classic image that we’ve always known: big buildings, hierarchical structures, everyone working under one roof and working under one lead creator/boss. Think Disney, Pixar (historically), Looney Tunes, and DreamWorks in their more traditional forms. This outdated approach to animation studios success comes with more of a financial burden than before. Yesterday’s structure in today’s world faces the following 5 major issues.
