Farcards have been around for a while on Farcaster, but I don't think we talk about them enough. It's much easier to mint your first NFT these days with platforms like Rodeo, but you still need something to mint. Farcards takes advantage of the Frames architecture on Farcaster and let's you mint in one click.

You need zero skills to mint and create a FarCard. Just click the frame and mint. It’s that easy. You can also log into the website, connect your wallet and mint from there, but it's more fun to do it via Warpcast.

Once you've minted your FarCard, anyone on Farcaster can mint one. It's on a bonding curve backed by mint.club so you'll always benefit by being early.

Token Gated Chats

One of the best features of Warpcast is the Token Gated Chats. You'll need your FarCard Contract address and Warpcast. Navigate to Direct Casts, click the new chat button on the top right, and create a new one (the flow differs a bit on desktop, you can click skip and directly edit the chat, but on mobile you need to add a friend to get started). Paste the following into the NFT field: eip155:8453:[FarCard contract address]

We use 8454 because FarCards are on Base, of course ;)

Once your chat is created, you can share the link freely and anyone holding your FarCard can enter. Use your group chat to share alpha, make new friends, etc.

AirDrops to Holders

You can use the FarCards website to pull a CSV file of all your holders. You can also grab this from Basescan.org using your Contract address. Send them NFTs, tokens, or anything else you'd like. You don't have to do this, but it's wonderful to have the option!

You can also use Farcaster native tools like Rewardr to automatically do airdrops with your Farcaster native tokens.

Create a Gated Channel on Farcaster

You can also create a channel on Farcaster and use tools like Cura or ModBot to gate the channel so only people holding your FarCard can post. Just drop your contract address as the gate! Be sure to set up the channel details in Warpcast to make it easy for people to join the channel. Cura has a frame you can pin! Their bot can also be set to auto invite anyone who buys your card if you make @curabot a mod in your channel.

Rewarding Holders via Raffles

You can also use the HamCanon cast action to reward your holders! One of the options is using an NFT contract. You can use this on any of your casts and create games or raffles for your holders. There are many options you can set, but the easiest is to ask folks to like, comment, or recast (make it simple!) and then set the cast action to match your requirements. You can give away any tips you have on Farcaster using the text field.
