In the spring of 2010, Harvard invited Christensen to give a speech to the graduating class, asking him to explain to all the students how to apply his management ideas to life. At the time, he had been diagnosed with cancer, so in his speech, many of his views came from the perception of "the value of life" in the face of death. His speech was a great success, not only deeply moving the students in the field, but also causing widespread discussion in the news media and publishers. Thus, this book born out of Harvard lectures was born.

This is an inspirational book for a general audience, but it is not ordinary, it is not a compilation of hearsay common sense, but the author applies the rigorous analysis used in many years of business management practice and research to personal success and happiness. research, has developed theories that could explain the causal relationship between our choices and personal success and happiness.
"Successful people are not necessarily happy, and this probability is the same as poor people are not necessarily unhappy." After I learned about Christensen's experience, I understood what he was saying.
Obviously, he is a successful person, a very powerful business person, and was ranked No. 1 in the "50 Most Influential Business Thinkers of Our Time" by Harvard Business Review in 2011. He was a consultant of the Boston Consulting Group and founded He has visited four companies and institutions, and he has also met many successful people, so what he said is very sincere and deserves our careful understanding.

This book is a review of his life when facing the threat of death, and it is also a gift to the world based on the meaning of death. We seem to have everything except happiness. But where is the happiness? This has become a big problem in China from the individual to the society. This book does not provide answers, but provides ways to find them.
I am so impressed with the author's application of the operating principles of a business to personal growth and home education! The three abilities that enterprises need for growth: resources, application processes and priorities are also the three abilities that children need to grow. There is essentially no difference between how family culture and corporate culture are established. Also, never leave the door open to "just this once" and be 100% committed to your choice!
