We often reflect on the sheer randomness of being an NFT production studio today.
On the personal side of things, there are many ways our lives could have ended differently. In a single generation, David’s family completely reestablished themselves, 6500 miles away from their generational home, in the heart of the Bay Area. It was a gamble, no doubt, that gave David the opportunity to witness some of the most dramatic technical advancements in history.
A generation ago, Christian's family (also known as Bitwizard) lived a tribal lifestyle, or ‘off the land,’ in the barren Canadian arctic, hunting and trapping to survive. He often jokes about the difficulty of trying to explain the fact that we make on-chain generative art to his elder generations.
“Show me those hands!” “Your hands are soft! That’s not a real job!”. We imagine the conversation would end like this.
Renowned novelist Arther C. Clark said, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Probably inconceivable to all of our ancestors, this emphasizes the magic of our craft.
Pob Studio is ultimately a reflection of the duo operating it and we believe that being here today is nothing short of amazing. It’s within this belief that we create art celebrating our stories, moments, and interactions on the blockchain.
Our work, in essence, highlights the randomness of us being here and brings light to our individual histories in a way that is magical.
