In the depths of despair, my spirit was shaken,
Unjustly mistreated, my heart left forsaken.
As I sought for answers, with humility and grace,
I wondered why I stood in this desolate place.
Unaware of the secrets, hidden from my sight,
The truths untold that should have shed light.
A report unshared, a process unseen,
Leaving me broken, wondering what it all means.
But as I lay shattered, at the bottom I fell,
I cried out in anguish, my soul's mournful knell.
Why, oh why, must I bear this burden of pain,
What purpose lies in this, what lesson to gain?
Little did I fathom, the wheels turning above,
The hand that abused me, seeking solace thereof.
For in their desire to wash their hands clean,
They unleashed upon me a torment unseen.
Yet, in my darkest hour, as I wept and I prayed,
A flicker of hope, a light slowly swayed.
For God, in His mercy, heard my silent plea,
He wrapped His love around me, setting my spirit free.
Though the scars still linger, the wounds still ache,
I find solace in knowing, I'm not alone in this wake.
For the journey is long, but through faith, we persist,
Finding strength in the love that can never be dismissed.
So, though emptiness haunts me, and questions remain,
I hold on to hope, amidst sorrow and strain.
For this too shall pass, and my spirit will rise,
With resilience and purpose, beneath sunlit skies.
