In the depths of forgiveness, a sacred flame ignites,
For in letting go of burdens, we discover new heights.
Just as Jesus forgave, so we too shall aspire,
To embrace the power of forgiveness, to rekindle our fire.
For forgiveness is a balm for wounds deep and wide,
A salve that heals souls, where pain might reside.
It brings freedom from chains, a release of the past,
Unburdening hearts, where forgiveness is cast.
We're called to forgive others, to let grievances go,
To find compassion within, and let mercy flow.
But within this grand tapestry, a truth must be seen,
Forgiveness starts within, where self-forgiveness convenes.
For we are not perfect, flawed beings are we,
Yet we hold onto mistakes, as if they define thee.
But with open hearts and grace, we can choose to let be,
To forgive ourselves, and allow our spirits to be free.
Let go of self-judgment, embrace love's gentle sway,
Grant yourself forgiveness, as you walk this life's way.
For just as Jesus forgave, so we must understand,
That forgiveness is a gift, we all hold in our hand.
So release the heavy burdens, loosen their tight grip,
Embrace the warmth of forgiveness, as it sweetly equips.
For in forgiving others, and ourselves in turn,
We find peace and healing, as our souls truly yearn.
Remember, dear heart, forgiveness is divine,
A path to liberation, where grace intertwines.
So forgive with open arms, for it's an act of love,
A gift to ourselves, guided by heaven above.
