In ancient times, a tale unfolds,
Of a man named Joseph, brave and bold.
Betrayed by kin, filled with disdain,
Yet forgiveness he pursued, not in vain.
A coat of many colors, a father’s love,
Jealous eyes gazed from up above.
His brothers, envious hearts ablaze,
Entered darkness, a path that betrays.
Sold into slavery, in a foreign land,
Joseph's heart, burdened, could scarcely stand.
Yet through the trials, his spirit soared,
Forgiveness, his armor, his might restored.
Years passed by, a ruler he became,
But memories of youth, still aflame.
His brothers sought redemption's grace,
To Joseph's presence, they bowed their face.
Tears streamed down, their remorse profound,
Joseph's heart not shackled, not bound.
He embraced them, their fears dissolved,
Their guilt washed away, sin absolved.
Forgiveness bloomed like a desert rose,
Healing the wounds, as compassion flows.
Joseph's strength, a testament to all,
That forgiveness is the answer to evil's call.
In forgiveness lies redemption's key,
A bridge that mends hearts, sets souls free.
For grudges and anger, they only weigh,
But forgiveness brings light to the darkest day.
So let us learn from Joseph's tale,
To forgive, though wounds may prevail.
For in forgiveness, true healing we find,
A soul unburdened, a love refined.
