So you found a fun bounty on poidh and want to claim it, but you're totally new to crypto. Don’t worry. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know. By the end, you’ll be ready to claim your first bounty with confidence!
First, you’ll need a crypto wallet. Think of it like a digital backpack that holds your tokens and lets you interact with apps like poidh.
We recommend downloading Rainbow wallet. It’s beginner-friendly, works great on mobile, and supports all the networks poidh uses.
Android users: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details
iPhone users: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/rainbow-ethereum-wallet/id1457119021
After installing Rainbow, open the app and follow the steps to create a new wallet.
Be sure to write down your recovery phrase somewhere safe. This is like the master key to your wallet. Never share it with anyone.
To claim a bounty, you’ll need a tiny bit of crypto for gas fees (the cost of making a transaction). Usually, this will be less than 2 cents.
The exact token you will need for gas depends on the bounty network:
If the bounty is on Arbitrum or Base, you’ll need a small amount of Ethereum (ETH) on that network.
If the bounty is on Degen Chain, you’ll need some Degen (DEGEN) tokens. Important: this is not DEGEN on Base, it must be DEGEN on Degen Chain. If you have DEGEN on Base, you can "bridge" it here.
You can know which network the bounty is on by looking at the logo near the top of the page:
Once you know your network, how do you get this crypto? You have two options:
Buy directly in Rainbow: Rainbow lets you purchase small amounts of ETH with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Ask a friend to send you some: If you know someone already using crypto, they can send a small amount to your wallet address.
Either way, you won’t need much, just enough to cover a claim transaction.
Now that you’ve got your wallet ready, it’s time to use it on poidh.
Open Rainbow wallet's browser and visit poidh.xyz or the specific URL for the bounty you want to claim. Trying to find a specific bounty, but don't know the URL? Check out the poidh Explore page to search by keyword.
Once you find a bounty, click the "connect" button at the top of the page. Choose Rainbow from the list, and your wallet app will open to confirm the connection.
That’s it! Your wallet is now linked to poidh.
Here comes the fun part. Find the big red "create claim" button on the page and tap it:
This will open a claim submission form:
Here, you will upload your photo and add a title + description for your claim. When you are completing this process, be sure to confirm that all the requirements of the bounty are met. Bounty issuers will often have specific instructions regarding the bounty titles/descriptions, so you'll want to be sure you are checking all the necessary boxes.
After filling out your information, click the red "create claim" button, and you will see a final confirmation screen:
Double-check your photo, then click "submit claim". This will trigger a Rainbow wallet pop-up asking you to approve the transaction. Confirm this transaction.
After a short moment, your claim will be processed, and you’ll see it show up on poidh. Congrats, you’ve just claimed your first bounty!
Troubleshooting:
Don't see the claim show up after submitting your transaction? Wait a minute, then refresh the page. Sometimes claims don't show up immediately.
Still not seeing the claim? Check within Rainbow to confirm that the transaction you submitted was confirmed. If it was not, you will need to try again. If it was, please be patient, your claim will show up properly on poidh shortly.
See a "failed" message after submitting? Double check that you have enough gas in your wallet on the correct network for the transaction.
Sure you have enough gas? Refresh the page, disconnect the wallet, reconnect, then give it another shot.
Photo taking too long to upload? Minimize its size via https://tinypng.com/, then re-upload the minimized image.

poidh is designed to be fun, simple, and rewarding. The first step always feels a little confusing, but once your wallet is set up and you’ve claimed your first bounty, everything else will feel natural. So grab Rainbow, grab a bit of ETH or DEGEN, and start claiming!
