The Grand Prize is the top reward in PoolTogether, similar to a jackpot in traditional lotteries, but with a unique twist—it's no loss! Everyone is keeping their deposits, even if they don’t win.
Prizes accumulate from the yield generated by all deposits in a prize pool. This yield is allocated into various “prize tiers”. A large portion goes toward daily prizes, while another portion of the total yield is allocated to the grand prize, making it grow steadily until it is awarded.
While this grand prize can be won on any given day, it statistically happens once every three months on average.
Anyone with deposits in a PoolTogether prize vault is eligible to win. The chances are calculated based on the amount and duration of the deposits, so the longer and more you save, the higher your chance to win.
