Thanks to our early users and the great feedback we have been receiving - all helps us improve and iterate. Here are the updates to profile.io this week:
Badge Endorsements as Soulbound NFT Attributes
Soulbound NFT skill badges can now be endorsed by other users.
Counts number of endorsements and lists users for reputation purposes.
Endorsement is onchain as NFT Attribute with Smart Contracts Updated to enable this Soulbound NFT Endorsement Attribute.
Note: Endorsement is not yet subsidised, and therefore requires the user's profile wallet to be topped up from an EOA wallet before endorsing. Profile wallet address found at profile edit/general. Profile.io's wallets are account abstracted wallets automatically created upon registration with email.
Conceal Profile Records
Profile structure is: Profile Sections; Containing sub-sections; Containing Onchain Identity Assets such as Soulbound NFTs.
Update to enable user to conceal and reveal profile sub-sections.
Badge Creation Improvements
Improved selection from existing skill badges, or ability to create new skill badge as soulbound nft
Improved badge / NFT image editor.
Side Panel Upgrades and other UI improvements
When click badge detail from a profile page can now:
View badge / NFT detail, including badge graphic in side panel
View endorsements of the badge
Invite others with badge.
Differing views for non-logged in visitors; logged in visitors; profile owner.
Registration / login UI improvements
User invites with soulbound nft skill badge improvements.
Accepting skill badge improvements.
