R2 Testnet FAQ — Everything You Need to Know

Thank you to all community members for your participation! We’re thrilled to see over 17k users testing R2. To help you navigate the R2 Testnet smoothly, we’ve compiled the most frequently asked questions along with key instructions. Whether you’re new to testnets or a seasoned DeFi user, this guide will walk you through everything step by step.

1. Where can I claim Sepolia ETH test tokens?

We recommend using this faucet: https://www.alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia (There are also other options available, but please proceed with caution.)

2. Where can I claim USDC and BTC test tokens?

Join the official R2 Discord server and complete the verification captcha. Then head to the faucet channel.

Type the command /faucet, select the R2 bot, and enter your EVM wallet address.

3. Why can’t I see the test tokens in my wallet?

Please ensure you’ve switched to the Sepolia testnet, and then manually import the token contract addresses below:

4. How do I verify if the faucet bot is official?

The official faucet bot is named R2D2, and it features the R2 logo. It will only send text responses — never any links. Please verify carefully and stay alert.

5. Can I claim test tokens every day?

Yes! Each Discord user can claim test tokens once every 24 hours.

6. Where can I check my rewards?

You can view your rewards on the official Overview page.

7. Are rewards updated in real-time?

Interaction rewards (Signals) are updated daily at 00:00 UTC. Social media campaign rewards (Pulses) will be reflected within 7 days.

9. Why is the navigation bar missing or showing an error?

Scenario 1: Navigation bar not visible

Please try the following steps: Disconnect your wallet -- Refresh the official website -- Reconnect your wallet -- Make sure to confirm the signature request in the popup window (You can repeat this process a few times if needed. )

Scenario 2: After connecting your wallet, the navigation bar doesn’t appear and an “Invalid params” error shows up

Please ensure the following: Sync your computer/laptop’s system time with internet/network time -- When the signature popup appears, try to complete the signature within 2 minutes.

10. Why does my transaction (like adding liquidity, swap, deposit) keep failing?

First, make sure your wallet contains enough Sepolia ETH to cover gas fees. The Sepolia testnet can be unstable and gas fluctuations may cause failed transactions. If the issue persists:

Disconnect your wallet
Close the page and reopen
Reconnect and try again
