We're partnering with Swell and Symbiotic to expand support for BTC shared security in rollups.

This collaboration enables rollups to be secured with restaked BTC, unlocking new revenues through the blockspace network—developed by Radius.

Swell has introduced swBTC, a liquid restaking token (LRT) for BTC, allowing users to restake BTC to secure Networks on Symbiotic and other restaking platforms while receiving swBTC, which remains liquid for use in DeFi applications.

On Radius, rollups, including BTC L2s, can leverage BTC security through swBTC to advance their decentralization efforts. With BTC as economic security, rollups can establish decentralized networks to ensure availability and ordering guarantees, and be on their way to capture MEV opportunities for increased profitability.
