Beginning as Ethereum's inaugural optimistic rollup, Fuel v1 has transformed into the fastest modular execution layer known for its exceptional security, adaptable throughput, and an unparalleled developer experience.
Fuel Labs has successfully secured a total of $81.5M in funding across 2 rounds, backed by notable entities such as Blockchain Capital and Stratos Technologies.
Are you eager to launch your Fuel Network node? Let's get started!
Step 1: Log In To Rapid Nodes & Add Credits
Signup and login to the dashboard: Here
Add Credits and confirm the payment.

Step 2: Generate your ETH Sepolia API
Go to Alchemy and signup on the platform.
Create a new app from Alchemy App Tab. Make sure you select chain as “Ethereum” and Network as “Ethereum Sepolia.

Once the app is created, copy the Sepolia HTTPs URL.

Step 3: Buying Fuel Node
Choose "Fuel," then select the node for your preferred duration.
Paste the Sepolia HTTPs URL that you previously obtained.
Next, visit the “Active Nodes” section to confirm your node purchase.

Step 4: Check your progress on Alchemy Dashboard
Go to your Alchemy Dashboard and you can see the progress of your node.

After setting up your Fuel node, you can link it to a Fuel wallet in your browser. This lets you handle your accounts and transactions easily from the wallet's interface, using your node's data.
First, add the Fuel wallet extension to your browser by visiting the Fuel wallet's official website.

After installation, open the extension to create a new account.

To connect your wallet to your local node, go to "Network Management" in the wallet, then add and name a new network with your node's URL. You can find this URL under the "Active Nodes" section.

To check your node's functionality, use the Fuel faucet to send funds to your account. Go to the Fuel Faucet website and enter your Fuel wallet's address.

After receiving the funds, choose your local node as the active network in your Fuel wallet. If you see the funds in your account, your node is synced and working. Now, you're ready to do transactions and interact with the Fuel network using your node.

Congratulations, your node is now fully operational! Happy Deploying!
FAQ
Q1: I am operating a Fuel node. Is it possible to associate my node with a wallet address or an identifier to recognize me as the node operator for potential future rewards?
A1: Currently, the Fuel node operates on a non-incentivized basis within the testnet phase, meaning what you're managing is a local node. Validator nodes are slated for future introduction.
Q2: If Fuel opts to incentivize local node operation in the future, how will they recognize the node operators?
A2: Typically, when projects opt to reward node operation, they will announce it and directly gather information from the node operators, often utilizing communication channels such as Discord.
