RealNifty has introduced a new feature allowing buyers to conveniently separate physical items from NFTs and purchase them using card payments.

Not everyone knows how to use cryptocurrency yet so we wanted to allow users to purchase physical only items with their home currency.

We want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to own the extraordinary art available on RealNifty, whether in physical or digital form, or both. Instead of excluding those unfamiliar with NFTs, we aim to assist them in taking their initial steps into this realm, even if it doesn't involve web3 technology, while still immersing them in its presence.

Find an NFT with a physical item on the RealNifty marketplace you want to purchase and click on the ‘Buy now’ button on the NFT’s page. You will then be given two options - ‘Buy Physical with Card’, or ‘Buy Physical and Digital with Crypto’. Select ‘Buy Physical with Card’.

PLEASE NOTE: Price of the physical item will cost the same in ETH as purchase of both physical and digital. Price will be calculated in your chosen currency in correlation with the price of ETH at that time.

You will then be taken to a screen to input your address details for delivery. Once input, you may then be taken through delivery options dependent on the shipping type of the item you have chosen to purchase. For more details on delivery options, check out the Delivery Types section in this guide.

Lastly, you will see a screen to input your credit/debit card details. Input your details and click purchase.

Your purchase will be confirmed and you will receive an invoice via email.

Depending on which delivery method was enabled, you will either receive details of your delivery and tracking instructions from RealNifty or the creator will be in contact with you via email/the RealNifty messaging system to provide delivery details.

The NFT will remain with the creator. The creator can do what you want with it. They can keep it for sale on the RealNifty marketplace at the same price without the physical, lower the price because it doesn't come with the physical anymore, or take it down from being on sale.

The price of the NFT and item in Ethereum is, for example, exchanged for the price in US dollars for US residents at that moment in time.
