November 2nd, Lagos, Nigeria—the city came alive with glitz and glamour as Nollywood’s brightest stars turned out in style for the much-anticipated opening night of the 14th African International Film Festival (AFRIFF). The red carpet shone under the Lagos city lights, heralding the start of a thrilling 7-day celebration of African cinema.

Running from November 2nd to the 8th, AFRIFF has become a cultural hotspot, dedicated to showcasing the powerful narratives, rich storytelling, and incredible talent emerging from Africa’s film industry.
