1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.
2 Above him were seraphim, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.
3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
Today’s scripture paints a breathtaking image of our God in His full glory. So often in our lives, we become consumed by our own worries, plans, and selfish thoughts that we forget something vital: we serve an Almighty God who reigns over all things.
He created everything, and nothing is allowed to happen without His approval. His greatness fills the whole earth.
Reading this passage once again reminds me just how powerful—and how faithful—our God truly is.
As God continues to open doors in my life and present new opportunities, I am reminded that I must never stop exalting Him. I thank Him for the progress of the projects He has placed before me.
Even when I feel uncertain…
Even when I lack confidence in myself…
He fills me with strength and walks beside me through everything He has called me to do.
He never sends us forward alone.
Take time today to pause and appreciate how our Almighty God keeps us in His care—despite how small and insignificant we may sometimes feel.
Think back to the moments when you were at your breaking point…
The seasons when you didn’t know how you would make it through…
And yet—He delivered you.
Our God is a provider.
Seated on His throne, ruling in heaven, He still chooses to pour His love upon us.
We also need to remind ourselves to worship Him daily.
In the rush of everyday life, it is easy to forget to slow down and spend time with God. But worship is not centered on us. True worship flows from seeing God for who He truly is.
When we grasp His holiness, praise becomes our natural response.
Everything we have…
Everything we have accomplished…
Every door that has opened…
It all comes from Him—and for that, we worship.
As we enter the second half of the week, let us go about our days with smiles on our faces—remembering and honoring our Holy Lord whose powerful presence gives us confidence to face whatever the world may throw at us.
