As we wrap up Season 3 of Rehash: A Web3 Podcast, we want to take some time to reflect on our first podcast season working with sponsors and announce plans for our upcoming season starting in early 2023.
In Season 3 of Rehash: A Web3 Podcast, we worked with three incredible sponsors: Lens, Avenue, and Govrn.
We creatively produced definitely not boring ads and an exclusive 60 second video interview for each sponsor. Here are some tangible results we achieved in the first two months of partnering with our sponsors:
Mendes, one of the co-founders of Avenue, wrote:
Rehash are amazing. Highly creative, web3 natives dedicated to creating unbelievable content…what more could you ask for?! They understood our product but more importantly understood how to create something our audience would love. What came across was how much fun they were having doing the work, and as a result, we had a blast working together too!
In Season 4, we are once again offering our creative chops to three web3 companies with values that align with ours to help spread the word about their product or community. In Season 3, some of our top performing episodes were on topics like decentralized media, identity, the creator economy, and non-financial use cases for crypto.
As a sponsor, you’ll receive the following:
A 60 second ad segment on every episode in Season 4 (Season 4 will contain a minimum of 15 episodes)
An exclusive 60 second video interview for social media
Short, creative assets designed for social
Rehash DAO as a user/customer of your product
Active engagement from @rehashweb3 and @ddwchen with your project on Twitter
An NFT that gives you governance rights in Rehash DAO
Here is an example of the ad we created for Lens in Season 3:
And here is an example of the 60 second video interview we created for Lens:
Each project will be able to set their own bid price when they apply to sponsor Rehash. Your “bid price” is the amount you’re willing to pay for a sponsor spot on Season 4 of the podcast. Our minimum bid price this season is 7,500 USDC. The higher your bid, the more likely your project is to be chosen by our DAO members as one of the winning sponsors.
While we won’t be selecting our three S3 sponsors based on bid price alone, we will take it into consideration as one of the factors in deciding who to work with. A higher bid means more money our creators receive and more money that goes back into the treasury, so our DAO members have an incentive to vote on higher bids, all else equal.
Speaking of which, here’s how we plan to split the proceeds received from sponsorships:
20% of proceeds will go to our podcast host, Diana
15% of proceeds will go to whoever helped generate the winning sponsors
15% of proceeds will go back into the Rehash treasury
At Rehash, we prioritize nurturing a long term relationship with our sponsors. Our goal is not just to provide you with a quick media spotlight, but rather to build a long term partnership in which we’re continually discovering new and creative ways to help foster each others’ communities.
By sponsoring Season 3 of Rehash: A Web3 Podcast, you can expect perks such as:
Member access to your own little corner of our community, where you can coordinate and discuss exciting ideas with our contributors
Early supporter rewards
The opportunity to participate in future community events
Aaron Soskin, co-founder of Govrn, said this about his experience sponsoring Rehash:
A web3 podcast is not just a line with Rehash, it’s real. Not only is their podcast built for web3 natives, but they run their DAO as a DAO running a podcast. If you want to work with a group that’s web3 from the ground up, and not to mention absolutely hilarious, look no further.
This might be what he was referencing when he said “absolutely hilarious”:
If you want a marketing boost for your product or community, regular product feedback from a real user, and endless laughs and good times, please fill out this form by Thursday, December 8, 2022, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
