We are pleased to announce three new extraordinary professionals joining the Replicats pride. Let's get to know them:
Jorge Albuquerque, Replicat's new Quant Researcher.
First up is Jorge Albuquerque, our new Quantitative Researcher. Jorge brings an impressive 15+ years of experience as a quantitative researcher and developer (quant) at Itaú-Unibanco, one of LATAM's largest banks. With a PhD and an MBA, he's mastered the art of quantitative research in equities, fixed income, FX, and commodities.
Jorge has a solid track record in mathematical modeling, data-driven strategies, and crafting system critical code for corporate banking and OTC desks.
Lucas Fonseca, Replicat's Principal Data and AI Architect.
Next, we have Lucas Fonseca, our Principal Data and AI Architect. Lucas earned his Master's in Computer Science from Stanford and specializes in Artificial Intelligence. He's spent over a decade in data engineering, machine learning, and cloud architectures at tech giants like Meta, Google, and Bain Inc. Lucas also has experience optimizing real-time data transformation solutions in sectors like AdTech and made his first foray into cryptocurrencies back in 2016 during UberHack.
His expertise will be invaluable as we work to equip Replicat-One with the most comprehensive and reliable market data.
Rounding out the group is Giorgio Giuliani, our new Product Lead. Giorgio is a seasoned builder with over 10 years of experience creating financial products and applications. He's worked on everything from core banking systems to lending pipelines and tokenization engines, including stints at fintech unicorns like Funding Circle, Sumup, and N26. Giorgio caught the crypto bug early, starting his journey in 2014 with the Milan Bitcoin Meetup. Since then, he's become a passionate advocate for Ethereum and DeFi protocols.
In 2022, Giorgio joined Backed Finance, where he built out the platform and ecosystem around their tokens. With his deep understanding of traditional finance and crypto, Giorgio is the perfect person to shape Replicats into an intuitive, user-friendly product that appeals to traders of all stripes.
These new hires represent a major leap forward in our capabilities and ambitions. With their help, we're confident Replicat-One will set a new standard for autonomous AI trading agents - fast, intelligent, and poised to pounce on the next big opportunity.
