Karak is a restaking protocol that enables developers to leverage Ethereum's security without needing to build a separate validator system. This makes the security setup more flexible, accessible, and cost-efficient.
Karak has also developed a Layer 2 network called K2, specifically designed for restaking. K2 combines Rollup technology, Ethereum’s security, and a Modular Data Availability Network to reduce transaction fees and increase scalability.
Multi-asset Restaking: Users can restake various assets, such as ETH, Liquid Staking Tokens (LST), stablecoins, and LRT, to earn rewards. This diversification enhances security for Distributed Security Services (DSS) by preventing reliance on a single asset.
Restake Anywhere: Developers can innovate and deploy restaking infrastructure on any chain, using their own asset sets, making the process more adaptable.
Turnkey Development: Karak offers developers easy tools and SDKs to create new services with secure infrastructure from the start, promoting faster and safer product development.
While the Karak ecosystem is still in its early stages and lacks some key components, it aims to expand and mature over time.
