The table gives information about the average amount of CO2 each person released and the total amount of CO2 the whole country produced in the top 5 countries in 2005,2006.
It is clear that The US and Russia citizens produced the much more CO2 for each person than other country’s residents; and China and US were the two most biggest CO2 released countries.
As we can see from the table, the US and Russia citizens produced 19.8KG per person and 12Kg per person respectively. By contrast, the average of amount of CO2 produced by Chinese and Indian citizens were much lower, which was at 2.8Kg per person and 1.2Kg per person. Japanese citizens produced the middle level of CO2, which was about 9.8Kg per person.
Between 2005 and 2006, the figure for China’s CO2 production released increased by 400 Million Tons, which was a total of 6000 Million Tons, and also became the largest CO2 releasing country. The change rate was 11%. By contrast, For the US, it decreased from 5900 to 5000, so the change rate was -2%. We can also see the middle change level for India, which was 8%. And for Russia and Japan, they remained at same levels as before.
