I. The Wild Electricity (The Calling)
Have you ever felt the electricity of nature?
This is not an abstract or poetic question; it is a physical sensation, a jolt that runs through every fiber of your being, as if you were connected directly to the source of life. I felt it for the first time deep in the heart of the jungle. I looked up and my gaze was captured by a flock of parrots, a burst of every color. I lifted my hand as high as possible, trying to touch them all.
In that moment, the energy of the world and the universe seemed to concentrate in that group of birds, and I felt it. It was a vibrant certainty, a reminder that we are part of something wild and vast.
Right at the peak of that connection, one of the parrots perched right in front of me. It looked directly into my eyes. And with a deep voice, resonating not just in my ears but in my soul, it spoke only one phrase:
"Dibuja una púa y una línea" (Draw a thorn and a line).
My immediate reaction was one of total confusion: "I don't understand... What are you trying to tell me?". The parrot, as suddenly as it arrived, left, taking the answer with it, but leaving behind a seed of mystery and an unshakeable command.
"I didn't understand." The command was clear, the voice deep, but the message was a crypt. To be honest, the parrot's question—"Dibuja una púa y una línea"—circled my head for months like an indecipherable riddle. I tried to solve it with reason, to find a design logic, but the message was not meant for the analytical mind. It needed time to take root and mature.
And time reminded me that the deepest truths do not arrive in a rush, but with a gentle breeze.
One day, unexpectedly, walking barefoot in the garden of my house, I felt that electricity again, that connection with the wild and with creation. It was a caress, a silent reminder: everything arrives in its moment and, most importantly, it was a calling to draw my path.
In that instant of stillness, the fog dissipated, and the parrot's message was revealed as the synthesis of an inner journey. I understood that the "Thorn" (Púa) is nothing more than the pain or the wound that must be confronted to heal, and the "Line" (Línea) is the manifestation of our inspiration and the path we create by healing ourselves.
It was not just about parrots, colors, or the jungle; it was a reminder that nature always has something to teach us. Life, full of vibrant signals, invites us to participate: to face the truth and upon it, draw our own path.
