We are thrilled to announce that Superscan, our explorer product designed for the OP Chains, has been awarded the RetroPGF 3 Optimism Collective Grant.

Our project received a grant of 64,596.53 OP, sparking a wave of enthusiasm within our team.

We are incredibly excited about the opportunities and innovations that this grant will bring to Superscan, and we look forward to sharing all the exciting developments with the community. This recognition and support from RetroPGF 3 underscore the positive impact Superscan has made within the Optimism Collective and among its community.

In July 2023, we unveiled the Superscan, a powerful tool making waves in the world of OP Chains. We're beyond thrilled with the fantastic developments it's ushered in, and we can't wait to share more.

The Superscan Explorer is the go-to hub for navigating transactions across various OP Chains. Since its launch, we've been actively indexing four OP Chains:

• OP Mainnet

• Base

• Zora

• PGN

  with an incredible response from users. Over 30,000 users and developers people have embraced the Superscan.

The Superscan isn't flying solo. It shares the same robust infrastructure and cutting-edge technology as Routescan. Our team has been hard at work, implementing multiple scanners on various blockchains. This shared technology ensures that the Superscan remains at the forefront of efficiency and reliability.

As we continue refining and expanding our scanning capabilities, we're dedicated to providing a seamless and comprehensive experience for users diving into the intricacies of OP Chains.

Empowered by the grant, we're advancing further on our journey. As previously noted, we've been indexing four OP Chains without charge since the Superscan's inception. The exciting update? Thanks to the grant, we're amplifying our efforts – we're now committed to indexing all OP Chains for free until ETHDenver in March 2024, starting with Mode. Furthermore, the four OP Chains already indexed will continue to be maintained for free throughout the entirety of 2024.

But that's not all. After ETHDenver, we'll be sitting down with the chains for a thoughtful discussion. Our goal is to collaboratively create a revenue model that respects all the principles of the RetroPGF 3, making the equation "Impact = Profit" a reality. It's a new chapter for us, and we're excited to continue this journey of exploration and growth.

The RetroPGF Optimism Round is a key element of the Retroactive Public Goods Funding (RetroPGF) initiative in the Optimism community. RetroPGF focuses on recognizing past contributions by allowing members to allocate surplus revenue to impactful projects. This aligns with Optimism's principle of equating impact with profit, fostering an ecosystem that incentivizes positive contributions. RetroPGF also provides exit liquidity for projects, enabling early investment. This commitment to experimentation involves regular rounds, making it a dynamic and community-driven process to build the desired future for Optimism
