Generic Object Shows, also called Amateur Object Shows, are an unofficial term for uninspired animated reality shows that use object show art styles, and as the term suggests, are very generic and unoriginal.
All of them are competition shows, which are super repetitive, clichéd and formulaic. They use a lot of copyrighted music, sound effects and characters, on the likes of Rick Astley, Nintendo, or Disney, which make them more unoriginal than original, and clearly show their severe lack of general creativity.
Some tend to cash in on "latest trends" and modern memes instead of something fresh and original. They're hard to watch, boring and tiresome, and lack ambition and enthusiasm.
Similar to most object shows, their production process takes longer than fast-paced productions, causing a lot of delays and even outright cancellations. Like amateur Web2 posts, they only care about making money and engagement than originality, and makes them look more like Hollywood than non-Hollywood.
There are good narrative object shows that are fun to watch and entertaining, similar to good competition object shows.
