We’ve been busy over the last month at Safe! Here’s a recap of the developments you might have missed, along with insights into upcoming activities across the Safe ecosystem. Let’s jump in.

• Safe{Core} Protocol Launch: A new whitepaper is available, seeking community feedback to establish a new interoperable and modular smart account standard. Participate in the discussions here.

• ERC-7512 Introduction: ERC-7512 aims to bring audits onchain, improving transparency and trust in the ecosystem. More details are available here. Join us for X Space on Wed, Oct 4, 16:00 CEST.

• Expansion to Polygon zkEVM and zkSync: Safe is now accessible on Polygon zkEVM and zkSync Era, expanding its reach across different blockchain networks and bringing the total count of supported networks to 14.

• Safe Grants Program: Wave 1 Grantees for the Safe Grants Program have been approved. Approved grantees will receive confirmation emails this week. Once finalized, the funding list will be shared here. Following this, the project onboarding and milestone review process will begin.

• Inaugural Safe{Con} in Berlin: The Safe community gathered in Berlin for the first-ever Safe{Con}. The event featured insightful talks from industry leaders like Sandeep Nailwal and Punk6529, and it was a resounding success, setting the stage for its return next year.

• Web3 Transitions Summit during Token2049 in Singapore: Safe hosted the summit in collaboration with Longhash, with notable attendees including Vitalik Buterin. Highlights can be found here.

• DAATA and AI Hackathon Announcement: The hackathon, in collaboration with Gnosis, The Graph, Open Zeppelin, Autonolas, BuidlGuidl, and Covalent, is scheduled for October 9. Early sign-up is available here.

• Application Deadline for Safe Initiatives: Today, September 29, is the last day to apply for the Safe{AAccelerator} and Safe Builders’ Fellowship Program. Additional information can be found here.

• SEP #5 Redemption Period: As of September 28, 2023, 37.47% of tokens and 39.91% of wallets pursuant to SEP #5 have been redeemed. To simplify the process for eligible recipients in checking their eligibility and understanding how to redeem, Safe has partnered with earni.fi by Bankless.

• Governance Framework Progress: After incorporating SafeDAO’s feedback, the governance framework has advanced to Phase 1.

• Resource Allocation Framework: A draft of the resource allocation framework has moved to Phase 0.

• SAFE token discovery: Collected SAFE token utility ideas from the community to potentially explore further. Stay tuned for the next update.

• Pimlico Investment: Safe has invested in Pimlico’s $1.6M seed round. More information can be found here.

• World App Integration: World App creates Safe for all users, optimizing MultiCall contracts for batching results and transactions. More information can be found here.

• Ethereum Vaults live on Casa: Casa has launched Ethereum vaults with Safe.
