Maybe you’ve seen that post by entrepreneur Alex Hormozi.
Maybe not. (And if so: you’re welcome - he’s dangerously wise.)
Those words have been playing on repeat in my mind — all week.
I think it’s because I just kicked off a new marketing campaign, and after five years of entrepreneurship, my mind still keeps telling me:
“OHH!! When we hit this number of clients, we’ll finally be good/happy/satisfied.”
But that’s a lie — because the only point of having a business… is to keep having a business.
So every time my mind goes there, I reply:
“No, the point isn’t winning — it’s keeping playing. You gotta build a business that makes you excited to wake up and keep playing.”
Game. Changer.
Life update ✨
This week, I managed to "keep the most important thing, the most important thing.”
Not gonna lie though — it was hard. I work so hard on other people’s and clients’ businesses that I forget my own, but this week I finally launched a marketing campaign that I’ve had quite some resistance towards. But I feel SO good now that it’s out.
📚 BOOKS! If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I’m addicted to a book about addiction. (The irony isn´t lost on me.) It´s Elizabeth Gilbert’s new book "All the Way to the River"- And oh. My. God. — The honesty and vulnerability in this book... wild. Just go read it, you won´t regret it.
Also, my hamstring is injured (due to overstretching and overtraining) — and now I can't stretch for a couple of days. Annoying, but I’m used to there always being “something” — simply part of being addicted to dancing too, heh.
Other than that, I’ve been in such a monk mode lately that I barely know what’s going on in the world. But hey — I did vote, so I feel like I’m at least somewhat involved with what’s going on out there.
Talk next week <3
