"I Found God" is the track that started it all for us. The new chapter and direction we're headed in. Dark, house oriented, melodic, dance - the most authentic version of ourselves yet.

Prior to this, we were trying just about every single style of music. Leaning closely into our influences so that we can learn from them. However, those moments for us were exactly just that: learning experiences. Now, we are on our own path.

The song is about a person on a journey of self discovery. They leave behind false realities in the search of a greater truth. A desire to fulfill their curiosity of what lies at the end of the path they've chosen to take. It is something that many of us can relate to.

Dru was the one who had created the original loop. This track would not exist without him. I remember when I (Deb) came home from a trip he played it for me and I thought the groove was undeniable, “I’ll sit down with this later” I told myself. I was invited to go out later that night (or that week) but decided to stay in and see what the studio brought me. I opened up the loop and started to structure it out.

The flow quickly came to form, the atmosphere pulled me in, and the hook appeared almost immediately. I was sitting in the studio freaking out. It was one of those times where in the moment you’re realizing that you’ve created something incredible. For me, it was the realization that this was the first track we had made that truly blended both of our styles. The combination of Pop/R&B vocals, with sonically alluring dance music. Within a couple more collaborative sessions, the track was finished.
